School Sports Coaches

Enable Leisure and Culture are looking for a number of enthusiastic and dedicated casual sports coaches to assist with the delivery of sports coaching in primary schools across the London Borough of Wandsworth. We are also recruiting a fixed term 10 hour per week coach.
You will provide schools with high quality sports coaching in a variety of sports, which may include coaching during curriculum time and/or running extra curricular sports clubs.
Coaches should be confident in delivering a variety of sports to KS1 and KS2 pupils (4-11 years) of mixed ability. All applicants must have a level 2 coaching qualification in a recognised sport. It is highly desirable that applicants have qualifications in more than one sport, or have a multi-sports qualification and background.
At enable we are committed to supporting the training and development of the coaches we work with, to ensure that schools receive a high standard of provision. First Aid and safeguarding courses will be provided, as well as Continuous Personal Development (CPD) for all coaches.
Working hours and days may vary. Access to your own transport is essential as you will be required to work at a variety of schools in the area.

We’re looking for an individual to provide day to day administration and support to our Active Wellbeing programme. This is a fixed term role for 1 year, with a view to extension. The Active Wellbeing programme is delivered in partnership with Wandsworth and Westminster Mind. The programme works with adults with severe and enduing mental health conditions and provides 1:1 exercise support from trained instructors. The role will encompass a wide range of duties to support the delivery of this programme. The post holder will need to be highly organised and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.
You will be required to process new referrals and liaise with a range of stakeholders such as exercise instructors, GP’s and Practice Managers, Support Workers, and other voluntary sector organisations. You will need to accurately record and monitor all session delivery and assessments, recording key outcomes and indicators effectively to ensure reporting is accurate.
You will organise and administer team and steering group meetings, help promote the programme, and provide other support necessary to clients and the programme coordinators.
The Support Officer will have knowledge of the benefits of physical activity for mental health, and ideally experience of working with people with mental health conditions.
