Big Local SW11 Fitness Movement

 

Enable Leisure and Culture are working with Big Local SW11 to provide deliver a programme of sport and physical activity to adults in the Big Local SW11 area.

Mondays 10.15am (Free) – Meet outside Falcon Road Medical Centre (SW11 2PH)

A free volunteer led walk lasting about an hour, the perfect way to start exercising again if you haven’t been active for a while.

Wednesdays 6-7pm (£2) – York Garden’s Library (SW11 2UG)

An indoor fitness class aimed at beginners. The instructor will lead exercises working your whole body.

Free until 23rd September 2017, then £2 per session

Saturdays 10.30-11.30am – At Shillington Park (Banana Park) (SW11 2TT)

Female led, males welcome

Saturdays 11.30am-12.30pm – At York Gardens (SW11 2UG)

These outdoor workout sessions will use a variety of exercises and equipment to get you more active and fitter. The expert instructors will show you how to use the outdoor gym equipment, and help you work towards your fitness goals.

Free until 23rd September 2017, then £2 per session

Saturdays 10-11am – Meet outside York Gardens Library (SW11 2UG)

Tuesdays 6.30-7.30pm (female only) – Meet outside York Gardens Library (SW11 2UG)

These groups are aimed at people with little or no running experience and will help you train towards your first 5km. Jogging is a great way to not only keep physically fit but is great for your mental wellbeing too.
