Putney Vale Cemetery and Crematorium Memorial Service
Our annual service is held outside of the chapels on the floral terrace and we are joined by the Croydon Citadel Salvation Army Band who play before, during and after the service.
Our service is open to all.
This years service will be led by Anglican Lay Minister Peter Joyce with Civil Celebrant, Grace Farrelly and the Mayor of Wandsworth also taking part. In the form of a collection after the service we will be supporting Royal Trinity Hospice who will also have a display in West Chapel with volunteers on hand to talk about the great work they do in the community.
For regular attendees please note that this year, in leu of the reading of names, after the service we will be inviting every one to dedicate memory ribbons to their loved ones. Families can write the names and, if they wish short messages on the ribbons which will be placed on display in the hall of remembrance until the end of October. There will be a moment of reflection during the service. Please also join us for light refreshments after the service.
We supply a limited number of chairs for the memorial service but it is recommended that you bring your own. Please also dress for the weather.
We look forward to seeing you at this years service.
