Arboricultural Officer 

Location: Wandsworth Common
Contract Type: Full time – 40 hours
Salary: £32,133 (ENS02)

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Arboricultural Officer to join a dynamic and dedicated team in caring for trees in one of Inner London’s greenest boroughsYou will take responsibility within your local area and manage all trees accordingly including those located in regionally important sites such as Battersea Park, Wandsworth Park and Wandsworth Common. 

You will have experience of urban tree management including surveys, mapping, and tree recording. You will have up to date knowledge of arboricultural practices, national and regional guidance and be familiar with current arboricultural legislation. You will hold or be working towards a National Diploma in Arboriculture and or have other relevant arboricultural qualifications. Candidates will need to be able to travel effectively around the borough to fulfil their duties. 

The post requires the ability to participate in a rota system to provide 24 hour, seven-day call-out cover for assessing emergencies.

Office Administrator

Location: Wandsworth Common
Contract Type: Full time – 40 hours
Salary: ENSc5 – £25,473 (ENSc5)

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Administrator to join our Arboricultural team who have the responsibility of caring for trees in one of Inner London’s greenest boroughs. You will take responsibility within your local area and manage all trees accordingly including those located in regionally important sites such as Battersea Park, Wandsworth Park and Wandsworth Common.

You will support our team of Tree Officers in dealing with queries from members of the public as well as council officers that come into the office via phone or email and need to be dealt with swiftly.  You will be methodical and thorough in the way you work and be able to prioritise time critical enquiries as and when they come in.  You will be comfortable in a busy office and be able to support the Arboricultural manager in formal meetings with contractors, collating information as required and assisting with monthly financial reporting.

Etching Tutor

Location: Putney School of Art & Design

This is an exciting opportunity to be joining Putney School of Art & Design. We are looking for an enthusiastic and positive individual to join our tutor team, in the printmaking department.

You will deliver high-quality and consistent teaching, learning and assessment within a specialist area (Etching) to a diverse range of learners at the school.

You will provide other support, advice and guidance and assessment to ensure the best possible student experience.

You will need to be reliable and self-sufficient with an ability to prioritise your work and use your initiative to undertake a variety of tasks including preparation of course materials, handouts and equipment to support the teaching.

You will have some previous experience of working in adult education with a strong understanding of health and safety studio practice.

Community Swim Programme Lifeguard

Location: Wandsworth
Contract Type: Casual (6 hours per week)
Salary: £10.21 per hour

We are looking for a casual lifeguard to support our Community Swim Programme, based at Burntwood School. The post requires six hours a week, spread across a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening (5-7pm)

You must work well within a team, supporting our exciting swimming workforce and be able to complete tasks with sole responsibility. You will be responsible for all children’s safety in the pool and on poolside. This is a rewarding role, ensuring children and young people have an enjoyable swimming experience in Wandsworth.

There is an opportunity to develop and grow this role. Enable are committed to supporting all our casual coaches with continued professional development.
