Macmillan Primary Care Navigation Project Manager

Location: Battersea Park

The Health and Wellbeing Department deliver a range of programmes to improve the health of our participants. We target those most in need and utilise community-based, person-centred approaches to deliver excellent programmes. We work with a range of funders including Wandsworth Council, Wandsworth CCG, and charities such as Macmillan and Mind. We have developed considerably in the past few years and are looking to continue that growth in future.

This exciting new post will work specifically to scope and develop a proposal for a new Primary Care Navigation service for cancer patients in Wandsworth following a successful local pilot. The postholder will be responsible for developing all aspects of the proposal and submitting this to Macmillan. Following this, they will manage the mobilisation and delivery of the project including recruitment and line management of staff.

We are looking for someone who is an experienced project manager with direct experience in managing health-related projects. You will need to work across a wide range of project areas including budgets, staffing, referral pathways, delivery models, and monitoring and evaluation. You should be comfortable communicating with senior managers, operational teams, and the public, and able to quickly build effective relationships with all our stakeholders.

HR Assistant

Looking to join an amazing charity? We are looking for an HR Assistant to join our team.

As the first point of contact, you’ll be working closely with the HR Business Partner, for all HR administration matters, including but not limited to recruitment advertising, onboarding and leavers. Enable has around 350 employees across a diverse range of services – you recognise that relationships are everything, so are quick to get to know your colleagues, what they do and how you can help them. The team provides a professional, efficient, sensitive and cost-effective HR service to managers and staff. You are well organised and efficient and have experience using an HR system or are prepared to quickly get to grips with using ours. You are social media friendly, comfortable getting involved in the internal HR comms channels, starting conversations and engaging with relevant threads within the team.

Additionally, you’ll dedicate some time to support the MD, managing appointments and taking meeting minutes when required. Where occasional meetings are held in the evenings, agreed toil will be given.

Training & Development Officer

Location: Wandsworth

We’re looking for an individual to join our small but efficient HR team, bringing your learning and development flair to the team. You’ll create and maintain an innovative training programme for new and existing employees, giving them the very best start and future at Enable. You’ll bring enthusiasm to this new role, and you’ll have experience of designing and delivering training including in person and e-learning modules.

Enable has around 350 employees across a diverse range of services. You’ll be able to coach, mentor and train, ideally in areas including Microsoft Office applications, mental health awareness, diversity, legionella and first aid.

You’ll competently coordinate the logistics of training, including booking rooms, arranging refreshments, inviting attendees, maintaining all training-related records on our HR system, and creating regular reports and training certificates. The majority of your time will be spent focusing on the delivery and administration of the L&D functions, though you will be required to support the HR functions when necessary.

Operations Manager – Barnes

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Arboricultural Officer

Location: Wandsworth Common
Contract type: Permanent, full time (40 hours)

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Arboricultural Officer to join a dynamic and dedicated team in caring for trees in one of Inner London’s greenest boroughs. You will take responsibility within your local area and manage all trees accordingly which includes the iconic Battersea Park.

You will have experience of urban tree management including surveys, mapping, and tree recording. You will have up to date knowledge of arboricultural practices, national and regional guidance and be familiar with current arboricultural legislation. You will hold or be working towards a National Diploma in Arboriculture and or have other relevant arboricultural qualifications. Candidates will need to be able to travel effectively around the borough to fulfil their duties.

The post requires the ability to participate in a rota system to provide 24 hour, seven-day call-out cover for assessing emergencies.

Events Officer – Outdoor Venues

Reporting to the Event Account Manager (Outdoor Venues), the Events Officer (Outdoor Venues) will be responsible for the day to day venue management of events taking place in all outdoor event spaces across the Wandsworth’s parks and open spaces, including our flagship park – Battersea Park.

We are looking for someone who has previous experience with processing event applications and health and safety paperwork in parks, outdoor venues or local authorities. Someone equally comfortable with advising professional event companies as well as supporting first-time community organisers. And someone who can balance our commitment to not overwhelming our public spaces but also with a keen understanding of achieving income targets.
