We are looking for a permanent fulltime experienced salesperson to join our dynamic Fundraising and Innovation department, to sell a range of partnership and sponsorship packages (I.e. event sponsorship, multi-event sponsorship, advertising, and branding partnerships) to existing and new business prospects.

  • To secure sponsorship income from Enable’s Major Events and Activities Programme and achieve an initial annual income target of £150,000. 
  • To research new and existing business leads and develop a relationship development pipeline. 
  • Work with the Marketing and Events teams to develop high quality, commercially successful event sponsorship models and proposals. 
  • Ensure sponsorship deals are negotiated to maximise revenue and are consistent with our CSR programmes to enable opportunities for cross selling services.  
  • Build and maintain strong external relationships with potential sponsors, corporate partners, and supporters, through securing and leading new business meetings, and maintaining strong relationships  
  • Ensure that all approaches are tracked consistently, through effective use of a CRM system or tracking spreadsheet.  
  • Keep abreast of market / sector sponsor partnerships through trend monitoring, competitor analysis, sharing this information with colleagues across the organisation. 
  • Support other business development efforts across the organisation. 
  • Experience in sponsorship or new business sales roles; preferably within the events, leisure or creative sectors. With a demonstrable record of success in generating income. 
  • Demonstrable experience of maximising opportunities from researching prospects to generating meetings and securing income.  
  • Working to set sales targets and tight deadlines, working fast paced environment. 
  • Confident in generating new business leads from cold calling, personal research and industry networking 
  • Highly self-motivated and results orientated  
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
  • Attention to detail and the ability to ensure all outputs are of the highest quality.
