Access to Putney Vale and Battersea New (Morden) Cemeteries

Putney Vale cemetery and Battersea New (Morden) cemetery have re-opened for grieving families to visit their loved one’s graves or the gardens of remembrance. Other visitors are not permitted, and the grounds must not be used for daily exercise.

During this time please note that families are only permitted to visit the cemeteries during the hours of 10am and 4pm including weekends and bank holidays (last admittance 3:30pm) to allow us to safely prepare for and conduct funeral services.

Crematorium buildings remain closed to the public.

We are pleased to introduce a new cremated remains memorial to the gardens of remembrance.  Our cremated remains sanctums are now available and give families another option as a fitting resting place for their loved ones cremated remains.  Each sanctum can hold up to two sets of cremated remains which are held behind an inscribed granite tablet.  For more information please click here or visit the office to speak with a member of staff.

Annual Memorial Service 2019

Our annual service of thanksgiving and remembrance took place on Sunday 8th September 2019. Click the below link for information. Next years service will be held on Sunday 13th September as part of our open day. More information will appear here nearer the time.
