All events at Summer in Battersea Park will be socially distanced following current government guidelines. There will be limited capacity at each event, so get there early to avoid disappointment. Battersea Park Dog Show does not require a pre-booking, however we will be operating at a limited capacity.

Saturday 26th June

Battersea Park Dog Show + Armed Forces Day from 10.30am

The Battersea Park Dog Show returns this summer! On Saturday 26th June, the show will be back in Battersea Park. This year, we will be hosting it on the Bowling Green, an iconic venue in the heart of Battersea Park.

Registration begins at 10.30am at the Bowling Green, please get there early to avoid disappointment as this event will be at a limited capacity following Covid-19 guidelines. Due to this limited capacity, we will be judging the novelty classes only.

The day consists of lots of fun for all the family, giving every pooch a chance to win one of the iconic rosettes presented by the Mayor of Wandsworth. Judging begins at 12pm. Here are a list of the categories you can enter:

Best marching dog – special Armed Forces Dog class

Dog with the waggiest tale

Best veteran

Best minor

Handsomest dog

Prettiest bitch

Dog or bitch in the best condition

Best rescue

Best dog owned by Wandsworth borough resident

Most appealing eyes

Dog the judge would most like to take home

Best crossbreed/mongrel

Dog with the most unusual markings

Dog with the cutest ears

Dog with the happiest temperament

Best trick performed – sponsored by Friends of Battersea Park

The event is delivered by Wandsworth Parks and Events Police Service, in support of Armed Forces Day on behalf of Wandsworth Council. The Parks and Events Police are responsible for the routine patrolling of the parks, commons and open spaces within Wandsworth; the enforcement of byelaws, Dog Control Orders and other park regulations; and the policing of events. All funds raised will be donated to the Friends of Battersea Park.

Sunday 27th June

Family fun from 11am

On Sunday 27th June, Battersea Park will be transformed into an assault course for the whole family. From 11am, you will have the opportunity to challenge yourself on a 100ft Olympic assault course, where you will have to duck, dive and jump to get the end! Who in your family will win?!

We will also have plenty of other activities suitable for everyone, with funfair rides available all day.

Putney School of Art and Design will bring their expertise to the park, with the opportunity to experience model making from one of our experienced tutors. Find times and ticket prices below:
