Free beginners running club on Tuesdays – Get Out Get Active Roehampton!
Local people in Roehampton are being invited to join a free running club for beginners, which sets off from outside Café Joy, on Danebury Avenue, at 5.45pm on Tuesdays.

It’s part of a new sport and physical activities initiative called Get Out Get Active (GOGA) to support disabled and non-disabled people to enjoy being active together and establish regular exercise and sport across the Roehampton area, including the Alton estate.
Here’s what’s going on:
- Beginners running club – meet outside Café Joy, Tuesdays 5.45pm-6.30pm, free of charge. Register here.
- Back to netball – Roehampton Sport and Fitness Centre, Mondays 8-9pm, £3 per session or six for £10
- Rave fitness – Roehampton Sports and Fitness Centre, Thursdays 9-9.45pm, £3 per session or six for £10
- Junior non-contact kickboxing – Newlands community hall, Mondays 5-6pm, £3 per session or six for £10
