Free Live Music this Saturday and Outdoor Family Activities for Father’s Day this Sunday
The weekend starts in style with FREE Live Music at the Bandstand in Battersea Park on Saturday 15 June.

The day runs from 11am to 8.30pm with furious flamenco to jumpin’ gypsy jazz, the line-up is AMAZING.
The iconic duo, Faith I Branko, start the live music performances off at 11.30am – their last album, ‘Gypsy Lover’, placed in the top 10 World Music Charts, a successful international touring schedule and a soon to be released documentary.
After a hugely successful set last year we welcome back Dat Brass to raise the roof, get you on your feet and singing along to their sassy covers of popular songs. Hailing from the streets of London and raised by its punk-jazz underbelly, Dat Brass are a high octane, ten-piece brass outfit who have been kicking off parties and festivals across the UK. Join in the fun at 1pm.
King Cassady’s set starts at 2.30pm they are an up-and-coming, come-rain-or-come-sunning trio bringing you our own blend of Furious Flamenco and Boppin’ Beats.
Full Tilt Collective provide a unique blend of funk, reggae, soul, rock and hip hop with their 11-piece brass heavy band. The band have made a name for themselves playing at the likes of Hootananny Brixton, Rich Mix, Archspace, The Fox and Firkin and The Magic Garden as well as festivals like Sunrise Celebration, Hogsozzle and Isle of Wight. Pretty impressive! Catch them at 4pm on The Bandstand.
Tarantola provide soulful Italian gipsy-music mixed with lively rock undertones, straight from the heel of Italy. Tarantula’s exotic and groovy set, mixes live music with circus performance at 5.30pm.
If you fancy listening to the UK’s best loved gypsy swing ensemble, Trio Manouche take to the stage at 7pm – not to be missed!
Are vintage remix’s more your thing? Then DJ Chris Tofu is the guy for you! He has become a pioneer of the UK festival scene and crowds across the globe. From Glastonbury to Istanbul this musical maverick is constantly exploring, discovering and creating new sounds and new experiences, mixing up the formula for good vibe pie!
Dads – forget the lie-in on Father’s Day and head back to the park for a day of Outdoor Family Activities on Sunday 16 June from 10am. We have an action-packed weekend planned with a fantastic array of adventures that will be entertaining for the whole family.
Why not challenge the kids to a penalty shootout and find out who can ‘bend it like Beckham’? If you don’t fancy football, we also have golfarama on the scene! Test your accuracy with this inflatable game. Inflatable darts is also making an appearance this weekend, can you get the 180 everyone aims for?
We also have a card making station! Allow your creativity to shine and make a homemade card for your loved one. Who can make the most innovative card for this special day? A classic activity that will put a smile on everyone’s faces is the facepainting tent that will feature every weekend in June. Choose your favourite animal, or your favourite colours and let the professionals do the hard work!
With so much to do within the park you may get hungry! Don’t worry we have that covered! Our street food traders and fully stocked bar will be ready and waiting to provide you with delicious fresh food and refreshing beers, cocktails and soft drinks so there is something that everyone can enjoy. Just turn up to the park on the 16 June for these exciting activities, starting at £3.

Every Saturday and Sunday we will have two of Wandsworth’s best local brewers; Mondo Brewery Co. and Battersea Brewery in Battersea Power Station providing the beer (on tap) plus jugs of PIMMs to share with friends and delicious street food trucks to keep you full!
