Get involved in the 2017 Get Active Wandsworth Festival

The Get Active Wandsworth Festival returns this year and the council is now inviting sports clubs, health organisations, community groups and local businesses, to sign up to be part of the day.

Now in its eighth year, the Get Active Wandsworth Festival will take place on Saturday 15 July from 12noon to 5pm in King George’s Park and is expected to attract up to 10,000 people.

The free event showcases some of the best that the borough has to offer in sport, physical activity and health and is part of the council’s wider efforts to inspire local people to get up and start moving. It features live performances, sports activities, health and nutrition advice, children’s entertainment, free NHS health checks, inflatables, craft and food stalls.

Wandsworth based sports clubs, health organisations and businesses with an interest in sport and physical activity can get involved with the festival by requesting a stall or pitch space.

Sponsorship opportunities are available for companies and organisations that want to link their brand to this fantastic event.

Stalls are free to community clubs and organisations and costs start from £75 for businesses. The sign up window closes is 16 June, 1pm.
