Free Off-Peak and Weekend Gym Membership for Wandsworth Residents

Available in Wandsworth starting 1 January 2024

 

We are happy to offer free off peak and weekend gym to adults and junior activities to Wandsworth residents to those eligible under the following categories:

· Free School Meals

· Asylum Seekers

· Universal Credit

· Jobseekers Allowance

· Housing Benefit

· Council Tax Support

· Disability Living Allowance*

· Incapacity Benefit / Severe Disablement Allowance

· Carer’s Allowance*

· Child and Working Tax Credit

· Income Support

· Pension Credit

· Eligible for but not in receipt of Pension Credit

· Employment Support Allowance (ESA)

· Foster carer.

*These benefits are not means tested.

Please note:

  • Furzedown Recreation Centre is only available at weekends and during school holidays.
  • Off peak times: before 5.30 pm Monday to Friday and all day on the weekends.
  • Junior sports activities will depend on availability.

To sign up for the programme you can choose from the following options:

  • Visit a site of your choice from those presented above, and show proof of eligibility
  • Contact the site by phone
  • Email us at fitness@enablelc.org with proof of eligibility attached.

Proof of eligibility

Proof of eligibility check is required every 6 months for membership to continue, You will be contacted to confirm this.

What proof of eligibility do I need to show?

You will receive a targeted letter from the local authority which you will need to show when registering at your preferred centre.
