Women and Girls Swim Programme

Women and Girls Swim Programme: Swim, Move & Thrive in a Space Just for You

At Enable, we understand that not everyone feels comfortable swimming or exercising in mixed environments and that shouldn’t be a barrier to getting active. That’s why we’re proud to offer our Women and Girls Swim Programme, a welcoming and inclusive space where women can build confidence in the water, learn essential swim skills, and enjoy the benefits of movement all in the comfort of a women-only environment.

Why Women-Only Spaces Matter

For many women, cultural, religious, or personal reasons can make public or mixed-gender swim sessions feel intimidating or inaccessible. Women-only sessions:

  • Create a safe and supportive space for all women, including beginners
  • Allow women to focus on themselves without feeling self-conscious
  • Encourage those who may not otherwise engage in sport or activity
  • Help build a strong sense of community, belonging, and empowerment
  • Make it easier for women to prioritise their health and wellbeing

Whether you’re brand new to swimming or simply want to enjoy exercise in a more private setting, this session is for you.

What to Expect

Our Women and Girls Swim Programme is designed to help participants aged 16+ build water confidence, develop basic swimming techniques, and enjoy a low-impact, full-body workout in a friendly and inclusive environment.

All sessions are led by qualified female instructors, and the pool area is reserved exclusively for women during the session times.
