Coronavirus Critical Update
Following the most recent government updates, from 21 June, there will no longer be a maximum number cap for wedding attendees set out in law. Instead, the number of attendees at weddings, civil partnerships and receptions will be determined by how many people each venue can safely accommodate with social distancing measures in place. This will be based on the COVID-19 risk assessment of the venue or outdoor space, and the measures put in place to limit the spread of COVID-19. Some restrictions on ceremonies and receptions remain in place to enable them to take place safely. This includes Step 3 requirements on table service, face coverings, social distancing, and restrictions on dancing and singing. Please contact the team to discuss your individual requirements.
Community Centres will continue to be able to host indoor group sport sessions and exercise classes. Furzedown Pavilion will remain closed until further notice due to current social distancing restrictions.
If you would like to arrange a wedding or book a community hall, please contact the Events Team via email or call them on 020 3959 0015.
Our venues have the official mark from Visit Britain, confirming that we have met all Government and Public Health guidance in relation to COVID-19. We have a COVID-19 secure risk assessment for each of our venues and are looking forward to welcoming our guests, while adhering to the guidance.
We manage the Wandsworth Civic Suite and two community centres.
Our aim is to provide affordable, quality venues with staff to supervise both private and public events.
The Civic Suite is located in Wandsworth and the Grade II listed building is used for conferences, weddings and a range of other functions. This imposing venue is very well equipped and nothing is too much trouble for the team who will look after you on the day.
Enable Public Halls proudly manage the public halls and community centres on behalf of Wandsworth Council.
