Putney School of Art and Design services during COVID-19

Updated 19 March 2020 12.30pm

Dear All,

Like many organisations across the UK, we have been carefully monitoring the situation relating to Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Following the recent Government Guidelines, regretfully the school will be closed from 5pm Thursday 19 March 2020 until further notice.

We have already cancelled our Easter courses and the school will continue to be closed to the public during this period.

At this moment we are considering a deferred start date for the summer term by 2 weeks with the possibility to extend to the summer. Currently the planned start date is Monday 4 May 2020.

However, we do appreciate that we are receiving further information / guidance daily and we will review arrangements including any changes to the refund policy for the summer term and inform you on the website and via emails in the next few weeks.

I know some tutors have already set up classes for remote learning to provide continuity / motivation for students during unprecedented times.

Again, I would like to reinforce that our students and community are at the heart of all that we do, and we will endeavour to do everything we can to continue that crucial role and serve our students.

Your continued support in our wonderful school is hugely appreciated.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding at this difficult time.
