Tree surgery is the term used to describe works of a major nature that might be required to either prune or remove a tree. These operations are usually hazardous as working at height is of course common but also the particular tools that should be used can, in the wrong hands be lethal. These works should only be carried out by experienced and qualified tree surgeons who have an understanding of trees, all the different species to be found in this country and how best they should be cared for. Tree surgery should also include removing trees in confined spaces such as over buildings or glass houses or in rear gardens that requires all arisings to be carried though a property as well as removing stumps.
