Fishing

Our fishing lakes are at: Battersea Park, Tooting Common and Wandsworth Common (see maps). At each site there are designated fishing platforms and / fishing areas. We allow fishing from these designated areas between 16th June and 14th March (inclusive) each year. To fish here you will need a Wandsworth Council Fishing Permit and an Environment Agency Rod Licence. You will be expected to behave in accordance with the Fishing in Wandsworth Terms and Conditions and all site byelaws.

Anyone found fishing without a permit, fishing outside of the designated areas or who breaches the Terms & Conditions and/or byelaws may be subject to a fixed penalty notice and (where relevant) may have their permit revoked.

Our lakes are mixed fisheries managed for amenity and biodiversity alongside fishing. They are not dedicated carp fishing lakes. Our stock does include carp, but also perch, bream, eels, and pike. All fish must be returned to the lake immediately after capture.
